It’s probably time I did some sort of travel update, because as of next month I will officially be setting off to start my adventures! On January 31st I will jumping aboard a plane and 20 hours later I will be landing in Kathmandu, Nepal! From there I will spend the next 6 weeks backpacking through Nepal and India, I am beyond excited!
The reaction I usually get when telling people I am going to India is ‘whhy?!’ but I think it looks like such an amazing, beautiful country! Sure there will definitely be times when it will get overwhelming and everything is going to be so foreign from what I am use to, but that is what I am excited for, experiencing somewhere completely and utterly different.
I am heading off alone but will be joining up with a group through Geckos Adventures, so hopefully will make some new friends along the way!
After that I will heading straight to London, to set up a new life for myself in the big city! NO clue what I am going to do for work when I get there or where I will be living… But those are just small details right? This has been my dream for as long as I can remember and it got to point where I just had to go for it, so I purchased the flights and the rest followed!
I can’t wait to start my ‘London Life’, it’s seems a bit silly but the past 6 months or so for me have been so focused on my travels that I sort of feel like life is hold. I should be focusing on the time I have left here but that is hard when there are so many exciting things ahead! I am definitely enjoying every last minute of time I get to spend with family and friends before I go and as much as I want to leave and experience the world I am very sad that means leaving the people I love.
I don’t know many people in London so if you live there, or nearby, let me know! I would love to meet some friendly faces once I arrive. Also if anyone has any London tips, let me know!

Oh this is so exciting! I'm so excited for you and for your posts to come! I'll be in London December next year, we will have to catch up – by then you'll be a local! Also try gumtree for flats ect it's the British trademe!

And thanks, I have been having a look on gumtree this week! So hard knowing which areas are good etc. but I guess I will just have to stumble my way through and hope for the best! Haha it's not often you move countries!
